About: SD Card recording allows for a Cloud connected and managed platform with edge recording on a cameras’ SD card.
This allows customers to centrally gain access to Live Video and alarms including access via any web browser or mobile device.
Recordings from the SD Card can be retrieved centrally in the secured Cloud environment for review and export.
SD Card recording Cloud connects cameras directly into our secure central Cloud. Cameras stream over our secure VPN connection without the need for a local recording server
Live or Playback is streamed from the camera to the VENZO Secure Cloud over our secured VPN, then to any number of clients globally. Recording is done constantly on the cameras' SD Card (on-event recording support depending on camera model). Recordings can then be retrieved to the Cloud for central playback/export.
Alarms are delivered from the Cloud to any number of clients/workstations. Control centers can be connected to the Cloud for monitoring.
SD Card recording video recordings can be retrieved to the Cloud in the following ways:
Video is retrieved in the Cloud on detecting motion in front of the camera. The video retrieval can be done a few seconds before the motion itself to capture the full scene.
Video is retrieved in the event of an alarm event in the system. Alarms can be triggered based on various edge analytic events or conditions.
Video is retrieved manually to the Cloud. Video can be stored up to the available Cloud storage.
We strongly recommend SanDisk Extreme SD cards, as these are endurance optimized for video surveillance.
